Quiet hours are respected. If they reply STOP, the texts stop instantly. Every channel is their choice.
Private, not surveillance
Pace doesn't report on your parent. If they choose to share it, you see that they and Pace have been talking — that's all. What they talk about stays theirs.
Company, not an alarm
Pace isn't a safety device and nobody is watching a screen. It can't detect a fall or an emergency. Keep whatever alert service or good neighbour you'd rely on anyway — Pace is for the other 23 hours.
Does my mom need an app?
No. Pace works entirely over text messages and regular phone calls — any phone that can ring and text is enough. There is a simple website if she ever wants it, but she never needs it.
What will I see?
That your gift arrived, and — if your parent turns it on — that they and Pace have been talking this week. Not what was said, not how they seemed. Their conversations are theirs; that's the point.
Will Pace tell me if something's wrong?
No. Pace isn't a monitoring service and can't detect a fall, an illness, or an emergency, so please don't let it replace anything you rely on for that. What it does do is keep company, on a rhythm your parent sets.
What if it isn't for her?
Then it costs nothing to have tried — Pace is free during the closed beta, and once memberships begin you can cancel anytime and keep access through what you've paid for.
