Pace is an AI companion. This page says plainly what Pace keeps, what it never does, and the controls you have. Last updated July 2026, while Pace is in closed beta.
What Pace keeps
Your account details (name, email, and phone number if you share it). Your conversations with Pace — chat, text messages, email replies, and transcripts of calls. And the things Pace remembers from those conversations: your people, plans, and preferences, kept so Pace can be a companion instead of a stranger.
What Pace never does
Pace never sells your information, never shares your conversations with advertisers, and never lets anyone else read what you tell it — not family, not friends — unless you explicitly choose to share something. Topics you'd consider sensitive are held back from outgoing texts and tips by design.
Who helps Pace run
Pace uses trusted services to work: AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) generate Pace's replies and voice, Twilio delivers text messages and calls, SendGrid delivers email, and Supabase stores data securely. Each processes your information only to provide the service — nothing else.
You choose how Pace reaches you
Every channel — text, email, calls — is off until you say yes, and you can change your mind anytime in Settings. Quiet hours are respected. Reply STOP to any text and the texts stop immediately.
You choose what Pace remembers
Everything Pace remembers about you is visible in the app under “What Pace remembers.” You can correct any memory or ask Pace to forget it — corrections stick.
Pace is an AI, and says so
Pace is artificial intelligence, not a person, and it identifies itself as such. It doesn't give medical advice. If a conversation ever touches a crisis, Pace slows down and offers real human resources, like the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the US.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and everything Pace remembers, right here. Deletion completes within 30 days. You can also email privacy@toymint.co anytime.
